Introduction
I write this in the winter of 2006. It is the most amazing time to be an anthropologist in the 48+ years I’ve been at it. Different branches are coming together, feeding each other with new discoveries, as never before. There are more anthropologists from more parts of the world than ever before, and we learn about their work faster … while paradoxically the profession grows more internally divided and competitive.
This website will be a voyage of discovery for you as anthropology was a voyage of discovery for me.
